If you are a birth parent considering adoption for your child, please know that we think adoption is a wonderful choice. The decision to place a child for adoption is not an easy one. We commend you for your courage in considering adoption for your child.
The Law Offices of Ellen M. Kaplan, P.A. can assist you in making an individual adoption plan which meets your specific needs and desires. If you so choose, you can help select the adoptive parents, meet them in person, and have continued communication with them following the birth and placement of your child. In many instances, the prospective adoptive parents can assist you with your prenatal living expenses during your pregnancy, and for up to six weeks following the birth of your child. In addition, counseling is available to you throughout your pregnancy.
